The original stamped steel clutch fork fitted to early 350Z models was a known weak point, flexing under the clamping load of the pressure plate and causing a soft, inconsistent pedal and premature clutch disc wear. The ClutchPro ATFNI01 is a solid replacement clutch fork for the Nissan 350Z DE manual transmission, built to the same solid cast iron specification as the revised factory fork Nissan introduced from 2004 onward.
The 2003 model stamped clutch release fork has been known to flex under load, especially with upgraded clutch kits with higher clamping force pressure plates, resulting in mushy pedal feel and inconsistent disengagement heights which can cause premature wear to the clutch disc. The ATFNI01 addresses this directly.

Clutch pedal adjustment required after installation. The clutch pedal height must be set correctly after fitting this fork. Inspect all associated components including the pivot ball, bushes, and dust boot while the gearbox is out and replace any that show wear.
