Delphi OXY1645 is a direct-fit downstream oxygen sensor for the listed Nissan 350Z HR and early 370Z applications. Installed after the catalytic converter, it measures exhaust oxygen downstream of the converter so the vehicle can monitor catalyst operation.
This is the post-cat Sensor 2 position. It is not the upstream or pre-cat air–fuel ratio sensor.

Why Choose Delphi?
Delphi brings extensive original-equipment engineering experience to its engine-management and sensor range. Its oxygen sensors use application-specific connectors and harnesses, providing a clean direct-fit installation without the wiring joins required by universal sensors.
- Established automotive engine-management brand
- Application-specific four-pin connector and cable
- Suitable for either downstream bank on the listed vehicles
- Direct replacement format with no universal wire splicing
Ordering the Correct Quantity
Each exhaust bank uses its own downstream sensor. This listing includes one sensor. If both Bank 1 Sensor 2 and Bank 2 Sensor 2 are being replaced, select a quantity of two.
Common Diagnostic References
- P0136 or P0141 — Bank 1 Sensor 2 circuit or heater fault
- P0156 or P0161 — Bank 2 Sensor 2 circuit or heater fault
- P0420 or P0430 — catalyst-efficiency fault requiring further diagnosis
Check before ordering:
- Confirm the scan-tool fault relates to Sensor 2, not Sensor 1.
- Confirm the vehicle has a VQ35HR or VQ37VHR engine within the listed years.
- Compare the existing four-pin connector and cable routing with the product image.
- This part is not listed for 350Z DE or RevUp engines.
- This part is not listed for 2014-onward 370Z applications.
An oxygen-sensor or catalyst-efficiency fault code does not prove the sensor has failed. Wiring faults, exhaust leaks and catalytic-converter problems can produce similar readings, so diagnosis should be completed before ordering.
