Goss Post-Catalytic Converter Oxygen Sensor OX432 Nissan 350Z DE Left Hand
OX432 · Post-Cat · Downstream · Left Hand · Engine Bay · Nissan 350Z Z33 · VQ35DE · Up to February 2007

The Goss OX432 is the post-catalytic converter (downstream) oxygen sensor for the left hand bank of the Nissan 350Z Z33 equipped with the VQ35DE 3.5L V6, built up to February 2007. It is a direct OEM-fit replacement supplied with a factory-matched connector for plug and play installation. Goss has been an Australian automotive parts brand for over 80 years, sourcing to OEM specification for the Australian and New Zealand market.

The VQ35DE has four oxygen sensors in total — two upstream (pre-cat) and two downstream (post-cat), one per bank. The post-cat sensors sit after each catalytic converter and monitor catalytic converter efficiency by comparing their output signal against the upstream sensors. The left hand downstream sensor is located in the engine bay side of the exhaust system. A faulty downstream sensor can trigger false catalytic converter efficiency codes and cause incorrect ECU fuel management decisions on the 350Z.

Common symptoms of a faulty post-cat oxygen sensor:

• Check engine light with fault codes P0140, P0141, P0150, P0151 or similar downstream O2 codes

• False catalytic converter efficiency codes P0420 or P0430

• Increased fuel consumption

• Failed emissions test

Fitment

Nissan 350Z Z33 DE · 2003 to February 2007 (VQ35DE · 3.5L V6) · Post-cat downstream · Left hand · Engine bay

Infiniti G35 V35 · 2003 to 2006 (VQ35DE) · Post-cat downstream · Left hand

Left hand post-cat sensor only, engine bay position. Suits VQ35DE 350Z built up to February 2007. Does not fit the 350Z HR (VQ35HR) from February 2007 onwards or the 370Z (VQ37VHR). Confirm your build date and bank position before ordering. Always scan for fault codes before replacing to confirm the sensor is the source of the fault rather than the catalytic converter.

For the right hand post-cat sensor for this same application see Goss OX457. For the NTK equivalent of the right hand post-cat sensor see OZA554-N9, also available in this store.
