The K&N HP-1008 is a premium spin-on oil filter for the Nissan 350Z, 370Z, GT-R and their Infiniti equivalents. Originally developed for demanding race applications, it is now a trusted everyday service item across the Z and Infiniti platform. The standout feature is the one inch hex nut welded to the top of the canister a simple addition that makes removal fast and clean even after a tight installation, with no need for a separate filter removal tool.
The HP-1008 uses high flow premium filter media with a nitrile rubber gasket, anti-drain back valve and an 11 to 17 PSI bypass valve the same internal protection as the factory filter, in a heavier duty canister engineered to handle the oil pressures and temperatures of both the VQ and VR engines across their full RPM range.
