The K&N 57-6013 is a full bolt-on performance air induction kit for the Nissan 350Z DE equipped with the VQ35DE 3.5L V6. Unlike a drop-in panel filter, this is a complete system that replaces the factory airbox and intake housing entirely. It includes an HDPE roto-moulded intake tube, an oversized conical cotton gauze filter, a custom heat shield, and all required hardware. The result is a dramatic reduction in intake restriction compared to the factory setup, with a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque across the rev range.
K&N dyno testing on the VQ35DE recorded a peak gain of 10.65 hp at 5500 rpm and up to 10.12 lb-ft of torque. The aerodynamically engineered intake tube smooths and straightens airflow from filter to throttle body, and the heat shield keeps hot engine bay air away from the filter to maximise the density of the incoming charge. Horsepower gains are based on dynamometer testing and results will vary.

MAF sensor compatibility. The intake tube is designed to accommodate the factory mass air flow sensor from the VQ35DE. No additional MAF housing or adaptor is required. Ensure the MAF sensor is transferred carefully from the factory intake during installation and that all wiring is reconnected securely before starting the engine.

The K&N 57-6013 is the most complete bolt-on intake upgrade available for the 350Z DE. Pairs well with an exhaust upgrade or ECU tune to make full use of the increased airflow. Replacement filter part number is RF-1037.
