The NTK OZA554-N9 is the right hand post-catalytic converter (downstream) oxygen sensor for the Nissan 350Z HR and 370Z Z34. It is a direct OEM fit replacement supplied with a factory-matched connector for plug and play installation. NTK is the world's largest manufacturer of original equipment oxygen sensors, supplying the sensor technology used in many Nissan and Infiniti vehicles as original equipment.
The post-cat oxygen sensor sits downstream of the catalytic converter and monitors the efficiency of the converter by measuring the oxygen content of the exhaust gas after the catalyst. The ECU compares the pre-cat and post-cat sensor readings to evaluate catalytic converter performance. A faulty downstream sensor can trigger a check engine light and incorrectly report catalytic converter failure on the 350Z HR and 370Z.
Common symptoms of a faulty post-cat oxygen sensor:
• Check engine light with fault codes P0140, P0141, P0144, P0147 or similar downstream O2 codes
• False catalytic converter efficiency fault codes (P0420 / P0430)
• Increased fuel consumption
• Failed emissions test

Right hand post-cat sensor only. Confirm your build year and bank position before ordering. Does not fit the 350Z DE (2003 to 2006, VQ35DE) or 370Z from 2014 onwards which use different downstream sensor part numbers.
Always scan for fault codes before replacing the oxygen sensor to confirm the sensor itself is faulty rather than the catalytic converter or wiring harness. A P0420 or P0430 code can be caused by a faulty downstream sensor, a failing catalytic converter, or an exhaust leak upstream of the sensor.
