A worn or noisy idler pulley puts the entire accessory drive at risk. The OEX PUX793 is a direct OEM replacement flat drive belt pulley built specifically for the Nissan 350Z, manufactured from flow-formed or machined metal with high quality bearings for quiet, long-lasting performance under the demanding conditions of the VQ35 accessory drive.
Drive belt components wear at the same rate. OEX recommend replacing the pulley, belt, and tensioner together at service time. Replacing just the belt while leaving a worn pulley in place shortens the life of the new belt and risks a repeat failure sooner than expected.
