The Permaseal S2600SSR is the right hand side cylinder head gasket for the Nissan VQ35DE and VQ35HR V6 engines. The VQ35DE is a V6 with a left bank and a right bank this is the right bank gasket only. It is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) gasket built to Permaseal's Torque-One specification, meaning no retorquing is required after the running-in period. It fits the 350Z across the full Z33 production run including both the DE and HR variants, as well as the Skyline V35, Stagea M35, Navara D40, and Pathfinder R51.
The VQ35 and VQ40 engine families share a bore design that demands a precision MLS gasket to seal correctly. Permaseal's Torque-One construction uses multiple stainless steel layers with a cylinder bore fire-ring stopper system for superior combustion sealing, giving the head gasket the spring-back and clamping resistance needed to maintain a leak-free seal across the full service life of the engine.

Right hand side only. The VQ35DE and VQ35HR have two separate cylinder head gaskets — one per bank. This is the right bank gasket only. The left hand side requires a separate gasket (S2600SSL). Do not use additional sealants or coatings on the gasket or sealing surfaces when fitting an MLS gasket. Both the cylinder head and block deck must be clean, flat, and have a surface finish of less than 0.50 micrometres Ra before installation.
