The Stedi HIDCONV-D2S is a direct plug and play 35W D2S Xenon HID upgrade kit for the Nissan 370Z Z34. The 370Z Z34 is factory fitted with HID projector headlights using the D2S bulb format. The Stedi kit replaces the factory 25W OEM bulbs with a 35W unit delivering 3,800 lumens per bulb, a significant increase in light output without any wiring modification or adaptor required. The starter and igniter are integrated in the base of the unit, so it installs exactly as the original equipment does.
The OEM D2S HID kit from Philips and Osram is capped at 2,000 lumens per bulb a deliberate restriction so vehicle manufacturers are not required to fit auto-levelling and headlight washer systems. The Stedi HIDCONV-D2S removes that ceiling, delivering 3,800 lumens at 5500K for a 79% increase in lux and a 42% increase in light volume over the factory output, with the same plug and play installation as the original bulb.

Only fits 370Z models with factory HID headlights. The D2S socket is used exclusively in HID projector headlight systems. This kit will not fit any 370Z variant that came from the factory with halogen headlights. Confirm your headlight type before ordering. Do not touch the quartz glass bulb capsule with bare fingers during installation as skin oils can cause hot spots on the quartz and reduce bulb lifespan.
