Intermittent air conditioning operation, compressor cut-out or poor cabin cooling can often be linked to incorrect refrigerant pressure readings. The Tridon TAS006 is a direct replacement AC pressure switch designed to monitor system pressure and help maintain correct air conditioning operation.
When diagnosing AC systems that cut in and out or fail to operate correctly, the pressure switch is a commonly inspected component within the system.
The pressure switch monitors refrigerant pressure within the system and signals the ECU to disable the compressor if pressures fall outside safe operating limits, helping protect key AC components.
